Overview

The Go-Kart GT3 is Payload Motion's current in-stock electric junior car: a compact, rear-wheel-drive platform styled after the low, wide silhouette of classic air-cooled sports cars, built for private driveways, resort fleets, dealership floors, and collectors who want a striking, drivable centerpiece rather than a static display. It pairs a 3,000 W motor with a 72V 50Ah lithium battery pack, reaching a top speed of up to 60 km/h and a theoretical range of up to 50 km per charge, with a factory-supported drift function for controlled, low-traction driving in a private, supervised setting.

Every unit ships from Payload Motion's China operations, with an estimated delivery time of 28 days from confirmed order to dispatch-ready. Because we currently hold one unit in stock, pricing and availability on this page reflect that specific unit; once it sells, the next build slot follows the same specification unless you request a custom configuration.

Design & Styling

The GT3's body follows the long hood, round headlamp, and low cabin proportions associated with classic 1970s–90s air-cooled sports cars, scaled down to a junior-sized platform. It's available in several factory finishes, including the solid sky-blue unit shown as our current display photo, along with silver, white, yellow, and black options photographed in the gallery above. Some factory units carry third-party striped or logo liveries applied as a factory finish option; Payload Motion is an independent manufacturer and does not claim any affiliation with, license from, or endorsement by the owners of those marks. If you'd like a specific livery for your order, tell us in your quote request and we'll confirm what's available and what requires custom paint.

Inside, the cabin is finished to match the exterior, with a driver-facing dash, a low windscreen, and an open-top cockpit — practical for supervised outdoor use at a venue, resort, or private estate, and easy to inspect and detail between uses.

Powertrain & Performance

The Go-Kart GT3 uses a 3,000 W electric motor driving the rear wheels, paired with a 72V 50Ah lithium battery pack. That combination is rated for a top speed of up to 60 km/h and a theoretical range of up to 50 km on a full charge. As with any electric vehicle, real-world range and top speed depend on driver weight, terrain, tire pressure, ambient temperature, and how much of the drive is spent accelerating versus cruising — the 50 km figure is a theoretical maximum under favorable conditions, not a guaranteed figure for every drive.

Rear-wheel drive was chosen specifically to support the GT3's drift function, which is built into the drive electronics rather than added as an aftermarket modification. In drift mode, the rear wheels are allowed to break traction under power in a controlled way, letting an experienced driver slide the rear end through a turn on a suitable surface — the same basic principle used in motorsport drift disciplines, scaled to a junior platform and a lower speed envelope. Drift mode is intended for open, private surfaces away from pedestrians, parked vehicles, and obstacles, with an experienced or supervising adult present.

Battery, Charging & Range

The GT3's 72V 50Ah lithium pack was selected for a practical balance of range, weight, and charge cycles compared with older lead-acid or NiMH packs of similar capacity. Lithium packs also tend to hold voltage more consistently as they discharge, which means performance stays closer to peak for more of the battery's usable range, rather than tapering off steadily from the first minute of use.

Charger amperage, ambient temperature, and how deeply the pack is discharged between charges all affect both charge time and long-term battery health; exact charge time for the included charger is confirmed at the time of quote. As a general rule with lithium packs of this size, it's good practice to avoid routinely running the battery to zero, to store the vehicle with a partial charge rather than empty during long idle periods, and to charge in a dry, ventilated space away from direct sun or heat sources. We can include specific charging guidance and the charger's rated output with your order documentation.

Safety, Supervision & Where to Ride

Unless a specific homologation document states otherwise, the Go-Kart GT3 is intended for private property or controlled venues — a private driveway, estate, resort grounds, closed course, or event site — not for use on public roads. It is not a registered, road-legal vehicle, and local laws on where electric junior vehicles may be operated, and by whom, vary by jurisdiction; confirming those rules for your location and intended use is the operator's responsibility.

Because the GT3 supports a genuine drift function and a top speed of up to 60 km/h, it suits an experienced driver or a closely supervised setting rather than an unsupervised young child. If your use case involves multiple drivers of different ages and experience levels, or a rental/venue fleet where guests will drive it, tell us in your quote request — we can discuss speed-limiting, driver-orientation materials, and other configuration options available for that use case.

Who It's For

The Go-Kart GT3 shows up in a few recurring use cases: as a driveable centerpiece for a private collector who wants something with real performance rather than a static replica; as an attraction or rental-fleet vehicle at a resort, venue, or private club; as a showroom or dealership floor piece that can also be driven for events and demonstrations; and as a gift-grade vehicle for an enthusiast family with a private property large enough to drive it safely. It is not designed or sold as a toy for unsupervised young children, and it is not a substitute for a road-legal vehicle.

Ordering, Payment & Delivery

Ordering follows the same process as every Payload Motion vehicle. Submit a quote request naming the Go-Kart GT3, your quantity, destination, and any livery or configuration preferences. We confirm the written specification, price, and estimated delivery window — for the current in-stock unit, that estimate is 28 days — and production or dispatch begins only after you approve the build sheet and the agreed payment is received. Submitting a request does not create an order or guarantee availability of this specific unit; if it sells before your request is confirmed, we'll let you know the timeline for the next build.

Full details on freight modes, transit-time estimates by region, customs and duties responsibility, and what to check on delivery are covered on our Shipping & Delivery page. As with all Payload Motion vehicles, duties, taxes, permits, and brokerage are the buyer's responsibility unless the written quotation and Incoterm state otherwise.

Warranty & After-Sales

The Go-Kart GT3 carries a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. As with every Payload Motion vehicle, that coverage is treated separately from normal wear, consumables, accidents, misuse, water damage outside the unit's rating, unauthorized modification, improper charging, or operation outside approved limits — full terms are confirmed in your order documentation. Spare parts and service coordination are available after delivery; see our FAQ for general answers on ordering, payment, shipping, and warranty, or include a service question directly in your quote request.

Maintenance & Care

Like any electric vehicle, the Go-Kart GT3 benefits from a short routine between drives rather than heavy periodic servicing. Check tire condition and pressure, inspect the body for loose fasteners after transport or rough surfaces, and wipe the cockpit and exterior down after dusty or wet use — the finish is a factory paint job, not a ceramic or armored coating, so treat it the way you'd treat any painted panel. Keep the battery charged within a moderate range during storage rather than leaving it fully depleted for long stretches, and store the vehicle under cover if it won't be used for extended periods, particularly in direct sun or freezing conditions.

If the GT3 is going into a rental or venue fleet with multiple drivers per day, we'd recommend a basic daily check — tire pressure, brake feel, battery charge, and a visual inspection for damage — before each shift of use, the same way you'd manage any powered recreational vehicle in shared use. Ask us about fleet-specific maintenance guidance and recommended spares when you submit your quote request.

Drift Mode vs. Standard Mode

In standard mode, the GT3 behaves like a conventional rear-wheel-drive electric go-kart: predictable traction, smooth power delivery, and a driving feel suited to newer or more cautious drivers, or to a venue setting where guests are driving for the first time. Switching into drift mode changes how the drive electronics manage rear-wheel traction, allowing a controlled loss of grip under power so an experienced driver can slide the rear end through a turn rather than gripping through it. The two modes are meant for different drivers and different moments — standard mode for general use and newer drivers, drift mode for an experienced driver on a suitable, open, private surface with room to correct a slide safely.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Go-Kart GT3 road legal?

No. Unless a specific homologation document states otherwise, it's intended for private property or controlled venues, not public roads.

Is it suitable for children?

Suitability depends on the driver's age, height, experience, and the level of supervision available. Given the top speed and drift function, we recommend an experienced driver or close adult supervision. Tell us your intended driver profile in your quote request.

How long does the battery take to charge?

Charge time depends on the charger's rated output, which we confirm with your order. As a lithium pack, it also charges more consistently across most of its range than older battery chemistries.

Can I choose a different color or livery?

Yes, subject to what's available for the current build. Custom paint and liveries you own or are authorized to use can be discussed as part of a custom order.

What does the 1-year warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects, as distinct from normal wear, consumables, accidents, misuse, improper charging, or operation outside approved limits. Full terms are confirmed in your order documentation.

What's the difference between standard mode and drift mode?

Standard mode delivers predictable traction for general driving. Drift mode allows a controlled loss of rear-wheel grip under power, intended for an experienced driver on a suitable, open, private surface.

Do you offer spare parts and service after delivery?

Yes. Spares and service coordination are available after delivery — include any service question in your quote request or reach out through our FAQ page.

What happens after I submit a quote request?

We confirm specification, price, and delivery window in writing. Production or dispatch begins only after you approve the build sheet and the agreed payment is received — submitting a request doesn't create an order or guarantee this specific unit is still available.
